Currahhee Bee & Pottery

Why Currahee?

"Stands Alone" in Craft, Flavor, and Tradition

Like the legendary 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, born in Toccoa, GA at the foot of Currahee mountain during World War II, Currahee Bee and Pottery is built on resilience, dedication, and a commitment to excellence.

The word “Currahee” comes from the Cherokee language, meaning “Stands Alone”, a motto carried by the 506th during WWII, symbolizing strength and unity in the face of adversity. Just as those brave little groups of paratroopers (LGOPs) rose to the challenge, Currahee Bee produces honey and pottery that reflects that same spirit: pure, bold, and extraordinary.

Join us on a journey through mountains, rolling hills and wildflowers, where our bees work tirelessly to create a legacy of flavor and our pottery encompasses the natural beauty of the mountains.  From our hives to our kiln, everything we make is crafted with heart, heritage, and hard work!
